Wow- we did a couples shoot with my younger sister and her boyfriend Michael at the Barnhill Family Farms Corn Maze in Loxley yesterday and the weather and scenery were perfect!! It was so much fun to take photos of them, they are so fun and have playful personalities! They are really cute together too. Check out some of them! www.facebook.com/courtneymichellephotography

Pace and Evan
The Last 2 Weeks..
So I have been super busy for the last 3 weeks! So the first weekend in September I took my friend Page's Bridal shots, then I was in her wedding the next day. Then Rowan and I went to visit his Mimi (my mom) . Then on to the birthday weekend - Blaise's 30th Birthday was the 10th and his brothers was the 8th, so we went to the Gulf with his brother and sister-in-law and had a wonderful time (and actually had a baby sitter!- thanks grandma). Then Friday I had a last minute booking for an engagement party in Fairhope that night. It ended up working out perfect because Blaise was off work! I think there were about 100 people at the party. Great experience with wonderful people! I am only posting photos of the settings at the party because the album is password protected. But I will say the party was at the Eastern Shore Art Center and it looked amazing! Bay Gourmet did the catering.

P&R Engagement Session
This was a fun session to do with Page and Richard for the celebration of thier engagement. Page and I have been friends for years and I was so happy for her when she told me she was engaged! We did this session at the Fairhope pier and bluff. We had a great time and they really are an adorable couple and so playful!
About the Photographer
Hello and welcome to my blog!
My name is Courtney and I am the photographer for Courtney Michelle Photography. I have been doing photography as a hobby since 2002. I began taking photography classes in high school including the Advanced Placement class. I will be graduating from Faulkner State College this winter with an associates degree in Liberal Arts and then transferring to the College of Arts and Sciences at University of South Alabama in the spring to pursue a bachelor's degree. I am so excited for this.
I have been wanting to work as a photographer for so long and finally I have decided to just do it. It is something I am passionate about. I have tried many other things education wise, including nursing classes and social science classes and employment wise I have worked in an office, in retail and customer service, but nothing has made me as happy as doing photography.
I love natural light photography. I offer 35mm black and white photography in addition to digital for an additional fee.
I update my photography skills by reading articles as well as taking classes and of course by practice, practice, practice!
If you have any questions for me please send an email!
Thanks,
Courtney
